COVID-19 Updates!

From October 11, Sydney is no longer considered a COVID hotspot - this may have implications for your Medicare rebate if you choose one of our telehealth options.

Telehealth Medicare rebates are available to:

  • Existing patients who have seen us face-to-face (i.e. a home visit) within the last 12 months.

  • Babies under the age of 12 months

  • Patients who are in mandated isolation - if you have COVID, if you are isolating because NSW Health requires you to as a close contact, or whilst you are awaiting the results of a COVID swab

If you wish to consult us via Telehealth from outside the Greater Sydney area, the same criteria apply unless your local government area is an official hotspot. You can look that up here.

If you don’t fit into the above categories, e.g. you are a new adult patient not in isolation, we can still offer telehealth, it just means you would not be eligible for a Medicare rebate.  Therefore, we suggest that you book a Home Visit as your first visit unless there are reasons not to.

Please note that if you wish to consult us by Telehealth from outside of Greater Sydney, you may not be eligible for Medicare. We can help you work this out.

Both Dr Angela and Dr Sarah are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. When we come for a Home Visit, we will wear a mask, and we would ask that anyone over the age of 12 who plans to be present for the consult wears one too. We will not visit you if we have even mild symptoms, and we would appreciate you disclosing any symptoms to us prior to a planned Home Visit so that we can plan accordingly.
