Dr Angela Rassi

Dr Angela Rassi is a General Practitioner and a mum of two young children. Dr Angela attended the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Neuroscience) followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Hons I) in 2012. She has worked at Concord, Canterbury and Broken Hill Hospitals, and has completed specialty training in General Practice in 2018. She has completed over 90 hours of breastfeeding-specific training and holds a Diploma of Child Health from the University of Sydney. Dr Angela is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, and is working towards Possums NDC accreditation. She is qualified to provide Shared Antenatal Care through RPA and Canterbury Hospitals. As a parent, Angela became aware of the lack of evidence-based, holistic care in the perinatal period, particularly surrounding feeding, sleep and settling issues. She hoped to one day provide a high-quality and convenient medical service to care for mothers and their babies, and together with Dr Sarah, Sydney Perinatal Doctors was created. In her spare time, Dr Angela overloads her washing machine whilst watching her children dump Lego on the floor.

Dr Sarah Tedjasukmana

Dr Sarah is a full time mum of two boys and a part time GP. She has always enjoyed looking after mothers and babies, but was shocked to become a mother herself and discover how hard it can be to access reliable evidence-based information on pregnancy and parenting. Dr Sarah studied at the University of Sydney, first completing a Bachelor of Advanced Science with First Class Honours, then her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She achieved Fellowship as a Specialist General Practitioner in 2018. She has completed a Diploma of Child Health as well as over 90 hours of breastfeeding-specific training. She is working towards achieving qualification as a Lactation Consultant, and also working towards Possums NDC accreditation. She is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. Dr Sarah is registered to provide Antenatal Shared Care at RPA, Canterbury, Royal Hospital for Women, Royal North Shore, Hornsby and Westmead Hospitals. In her spare time, Dr Sarah sings whichever Blippi song is stuck in her head, and may actually be found gaming if the children are miraculously both asleep.
